Seeing a part of Chamath that I habe recognised. He is actually a really good interviewer. This was such an awesome chat. A unique perspective and non judgemental. CZ had a rough situation on his hands. Despite him being far mpre successful than the ordinary person. You see a normal guy who has had a lot of fortune but also talent. His ascent was not astronomic and he remained level. You also see that as a technical person with no exposure to the legal system. The helplessness despite access to all the lawyers. Event transpiring which he had no dorect oversight of but as the ceo was held responsible. It also serves as reminder that when the claws of justice a wrapped arpund you there are limits. It can happen to anyone but it also shows the importance of fortifying yourself as much as you can. As with resources you can at least weather the storm and get good advice. This is one of the better interviews i've seen. Keep it up Chamath and thanks to CZ for sharing his perspective.

Great example of Canada’s Five-Hole. Both these MVPs slipped right thru. They built companies that brought prosperity to other countries. All because Canadians voters haven’t been educated on the existing disincentives of building in Canada (relative to other countries). Being on America’s doorstep, Canada has the opportunity to build the most prosperous nation on earth (per capita) by adopting the Hong Kong system pre-handoff. And yet the CBC and politicians are at the moment trying to chase out Canada’s best entrepreneur Tobi Lutke out of the country. 🤦‍♂️

Chamath missed exploring the brilliance of the way CZ structured Binance , virtually with no nation able to regulate or bring it under their jurisdiction or oversight .. it's was all in the tech cloud.. only franchises or partners ran the local exchanges and owned clients ..So any enforcement action or if it went down was purely a local event and Binance and CZ were untouchable .. naturally it attracted the diabolical and criminals who naturally look for this ..

I think there's a decent chance that XMR could be the closest thing to a 'next bitcoin'. Similar amount of supply so if it becomes as successful as bitcoin the price could be similar or higher with future inflation.

A very interesting conversation. What struck me the most is how lucky CZ has been in life, except for the short term in prison, despite not having a prestigious university degree. Most people struggle in life and remain poor. It is impressive that he managed to build the largest crypto exchange in the world despite not being a genius programmer. CZ appears to be a humble, smart and down to earth guy.

Thank god you can pay to get out of jail these days - the injustice of days past!

Fantastic interview. Thanks to Chamath and All-In for bringing this content. In the US, there are still low cost options for college. First, a lot of high schools offer dual enrollment, where you get high school credit and college credit at the same time, at no cost. Then you can go the junior college route, which I did.. Lived at home, worked part time, and saved up $$ for my last two years. My last two years I was an engineering major at University of Illinois. Very little debt, worked during the college year (on campus, for the University) and worked summers. My degree is from University of Illinois, there is no asterisk/footnote for going the Junior College route. Same degree as the students that were there all four years, but they have debt. Our local junior college is free to local high school graduates, funded by private donations. Running up huge college debt is a CHOICE. It's a BIG myth that it is required.
