What they don't understand, or don't acknowledge, is that Austin is at risk of becoming SF or LA, due to the insane politicians and much of the populace.

The same revolution that happened with LLMs is definitely going to happen with robots and atoms, It just fundamentally cannot be as rapid of a takeoff because buying a robot and building a robot is fundamentally different than downloading an app or shipping an app. The capability will hit the market just as fast but the adoption and roll out will have to be slower, couple years instead of a couple months. with capability still accelerating at the speed of software, where anybody that already has a robot sees massive improvements each month from over the air software updates. because after you have the hardware the new capabilities are just an app.

We had an IT business with Fed contracts for transitioning mainframes and dumb terminals to PC's and then client/servers. Michael would offer help from Dell in helping to build out projects. IBM had been our main partner, but we moved almost exclusively to DELL, for his level of support in supplying technical support to our team with giving our customer with the best IT support. Great company, and a great leader. 😊😊
