I recently received an email from a woman in Santa Cruz County that said, “We all have to vote for the same Democrat or a Republican will win and make our state a disaster.” I mean…reality check…it’s a disaster NOW. People are living in sewers in L.A. Haven’t we hit rock bottom here?

Steve Hilton is impressive

California’s climate rules don’t cut emissions, they simply export them. Companies move production to China, where lax environmental standards cause global emissions to rise, not fall. The jet stream brings much of that pollution right back to California shores. We’ve traded high-paying American jobs for worse global outcomes. Add to that more than 1,000 bloated mandates driving government waste, and recidivism rates among the nation’s worst. For the world’s fourth-largest economy, the failures are staggering. The list goes on and on. Steve has my vote!

I lived in CA during Regan’s governorship. It was a renaissance. It fixed property taxes and got GDP cooking. I left CA in 1983 and came back in 2016 and my mind was blown how far things had fallen. Homelessness, gang violence, housing costs and super high taxes. State was destroyed by democrat leadership.

Wow. This guy is the first sane sounding California politician I’ve ever heard. Or aspiring politician.

The only way California will change is to change the way we vote. Steves's personality is a 360 from Newsome. He is so genuine and transparent.

We have a special blend of gas. And the highest gas tax. Due to Newsom’s policy- (2) refineries have closed because they can’t run the business on these insane policies. (And this was before the war!) We have reserves off the CA coast but South Korea bought it and now we’re buying it back from them AND California is considered an island. There’s no pipelines into CA. It’s all a hot mess! Newsom wants us to be all electric by 2035 and yet we continue to have rolling blackouts. Unrealistic and annoying.

Governors and politicians need to take their battles into the public when they are trying to pass common sense bills. We need more daylight on the process when outside interests are trying to put a wrench in good legislation

Yes, thy did a pilot program of sight reading in Texas decades ago , my son started reading in kindergarten, moved to sight words in 2nd grade and could not read after that. It took us until his 7th grade to sort out in his mind phonics again. Both my children are science inclined. My husband is a history buff , my degree is in science. But it took getting them back to phonics so they could even comprehend.

Here in Huntington at Beach at 5 Points my car was hit and run (3k damage) aside from a police report for my insurance, nothing further was done about it even though there was security, cameras. There were other purse snatching and car break in in broad daylight. Nothing. Cops said no security cameras and so they would not investigate any further.

Finally! Steve says it out loud. The government and all its tentacles, connection that include kick backs for EVERY little things is a cash cow to those connected.
