This week's pod is so good I listened to it twice!
-
Mic Drop: "It's a good thing I'm rich" ~ David Sacks
-
boys are hunting for exit liquidity so hard rn
-
brad is always an upgrade when it comes to business discussions on this pod, love it
-
“face made for radio” 😂
-
First half of the episode was a stock pitch for SpaceX and Anthropic.
-
Those glasses ain’t from the men’s department
-
Sounds like Elon bought a lot of GPU's and Servers and didn't have demand for Grok. So he rented his capacity(GPU's) to Anthropic.
-
1:15:21 Jason mentions he invested in uber
-
I thought J-cal had some dumb glasses, but Brad took him out with those red things...
-
Get spencer pratt on the show!
-
I worked in the chemical industry. I remember back in the day, a new regulatory program was implemented in the name of safety: Process Safety Management (PSM). It was pushed by large chemical companies as they were already doing it, and the regulation would put its smaller competitors out of business. And so it happened, in the name of "safety".
-
Brad just wants to 100x his investment.
-
GDP is almost 2x from 2016, but if you asked people if they were better off in 2016 or 2025, what do you think the answer would be?
-
11:58 disagree. There are a lot of people in my small town near Cedar Rapids, Iowa that organically do not want the 2 data centers being built and the 3rd one in the works. One (Google’s) is continuous flow water, one (QTS’s) is closed loop, and the third (Google again) will likely have to be closed loop to have a chance at getting through. There is legitimate concern about dropping the water table, because the level has already been dropping over the past 50 years, leaving farms like mine with a well in danger of losing their water source.
-
Another BANGER opener 🤣💣🔥✴
-
At 54:02 Sweden and Switzerland don't have federal minimum wages. By requiring minimum wages, you often see some combination of rising unemployment, increased costs, reduced hours, reduced benefits, and/or lower productivity. The California minimum wage increase for fast food workers was one recent example.
-
Spence is officially now the GOAT of Political Ads 😂
-
The show not complete without friedberg
-
Chamaths Xai/anthropic call last week was chefs kiss..
-
ok just put the data centres near YOUR house.
-
"the market will go up, then come down" -chamath p.
-
55:53 David Sachs says that "the problem with universal health care is not the desirability of it, it is the cost." Universal health care as practiced by most industrialized nations is cheaper than what we have in the USA and has better outcomes.
-
Elon made the deal with Anthropic to destroy OpenAi
-
love when Brad's on
-
Jcal including private conversations is a real D move
-
Long live All-In!
-
When there is a data center in each of these billionaires backyards then we can start talking about putting them in random suburbs around the country . Let’s do a test run with them in the richest zip codes first
-
Comrades, let us admire the solidarity of the billionaires as they bravely defend the agentic means of production; from the sanctuary of the studio, they kindly remind those unable to convert electricity into tokens that cake remains a viable caloric substitute.
-
I would’ve never thought Sacks would go down the monopoly route
-
We do need to look at participation rate when looking at unemployment.
-
These guys just gave a big promotion ad for Pratt, don't think it was just a coincidence.
-
David Sacks is the smartest and most articulate person on this panel. His takes are always thoughtful and measured!
-
Spencer Pratt for Mayor!
-
Brads glasses are so absurd
-
Love these guys! No wonder they are successful!
-
Sachs brilliant per usual.
-
I wish Brad had a consistent weekly podcast I would be TUNED IN
-
Love to see all the bots proclaiming their love for the All In pod ❤🎉 the besties couldn't do it without you!
-
Do you think China is going to be restrained in the least by any of these safety concerns? NO WAY!
-
I love the opening track of this podcast so much!
-
@altcap cool glasses. Wonder if they make a men’s version
-
Yay another episode of the AI SHILL CAST
-
Cant believe im saying this but Im finding myself to be a supporter of Chamath. Amongst the jokers on this pod he is the only one who put together a narrative that holds - at some point the people buying the tokens have to see benefits beyond simply efficiency generated growth!!!
-
Raising minimum wage = Layoffs , automation, inflation
-
Minimum wage always increases unemployment. You can't legislate someone's labor to be more valuable.
-
Always love having Brad on the pod his views are always solid.
-
Yeyyy!!! Pod dropped just before I board the plain!! 🎉🎉
-
David's mental flexibility is amazing. First, he wants to ban States from regulating AI because citizens are worried about noise, towns smelling like turbine gas and electricity costs going through the roof. Now he seems to be in favor of classifying a company, he doesn't like, a monopoly so the government can regulate it.
-
jcal spamming the bernie accent till it works lmfao
-
Lol, Jason's Bernie Sanders is on point! 😅
-
Great episode
-
Someone get Sacks some chapstick for the love of god!!!
-
12:21 Texas residential energy cost per kWh: 2023: 13.9¢, 2024: 14.8¢, 2025: 15.47¢, 2026 (as of April): 16.11¢, up 15.9% is 3 years. He's lying through his teeth, shameless.
-
Great call Chamath
-
Spencer Pratt!!!!!
-
Elon worth the premium....Earth need big thinkers....
-
Minimal wage is making it illegal to work for some. Worst economical idea
-
11:35 - Wrong Brad. Americans are not being spurred by activists to dislike data centers in their community. Not only are data centers increasing energy costs, they are a symbol of the further destruction of job loss. If you want the data center so bad, build them in your backyard.
-
There wasn’t enough fellating of the administration this episode, please try harder
-
32:32 *i’ve been into ai since machine learning 2018 days and remember dario was the mega ai safety guy since then. fair to be stated along with mr sacks statements for fairness and transparency. * me: Dario was into the safety like back in like 2016 at OpenAI, right? my wife er i mean chat gpt: “Yeah, that’s right. Dario Amodei was heavily involved in AI safety during his time at OpenAI around 2016. He played a significant role in shaping their safety policies and approaches before moving on to co-found Anthropic.”
-
This show has cleansed me of my socialism
-
Why is Brad wearing his grandma's glasses??
-
47:03 hypocrisy! They complain that tech leaders give AI bad PR, then Trump's tech Czar say that hackers will have dangerous AI-driven cyber capabilities in 3 to 6 months! Is it bad PR, or does AI really pose existential dangers?
-
damn the first 3 and a half minutes KILLS
-
You are all my heroes. Thanks for sharing your valuable time and concern for getting this information into the ‘public sphere’.
-
Chamath is so right! We have not seen in spending and we will not see it. We are trading markets for capex and hopium!
-
Chamath and Sacks always looking good ❤❤❤❤
-
As someone that writes about leadership and management (through the lense of gaming), i always look forward to your weekly discussions
-
Brad channeling his inner Sally Jessy Raphael with the red glasses.
-
Love the first 20 seconds. Made me laugh.
-
Nick trying to get air time 😂😂
-
Elon's Colosus and Anthropic- When there's a gold rush, sell picks and shovels
-
We stand with Musk
-
Palantir is showing the AI value when implemented.
-
Spacex Tesla merger will create the greatest company ever to exist
-
Will we have AIG? (Artificially Intelligent Government)
-
Win the AI Race
-
Brad and Chamath have interesting perspectives on this topic imo. I like it.
-
J-Cal’s best episode to date. Great takes and hilarious bit on translating Brad: “don’t touch my f*ing paper” 😂😂😂
-
Funny Jason doesn't like being interrupted while Jason does it all the time!!
-
Well said about those red glasses lol
-
KYC on AI models would sure push people towards open source models and local inference
-
Brilliant insights yet again. This podcast is simply unbeatable in terms of value 👏
-
Like SETI at home on PCs 30 odd years ago 🤔
-
Although Brad is doing his best, he is clearly undervaluing the true potential here. SpaceX will be worth WAY MORE post IPO, believe you me☝️
-
Great pod! Great energy!!
-
Love these guys 😂
-
Love that you are standing for logical things politically.
-
Great debate! Too bad J-Cal is the loudest interrupter…
-
Positive Upside with AI and suggested guests for AI Summit … the awesome feel-good stories of the Aussie Engineer who developed an mRNA therapeutic (vaccine?) to successfully treat his dog’s Mast Cell Cancer AND the GitLab Founder who went “Founder Mode” on his bone cancer. Both used multiple AIs (general and specialized like AlphaFold) and DNA Sequencing to hack n=1 personalized medical solutions. BTW, the Aussie Engineer’s dog MUST also be invited to the All In Summit (flying there on Chammath’s PBJ 😎😎😎)
-
Elon Musk will be in the history books with Henry Ford, Benjamin Franklin, Thomas Edison, etc.
-
Need Friedberg and more from Chamath - more facts, less cheerleading.
-
Companies using AI don’t have to sell more. They have to meaningly reduce their OpX
-
Trying to understand if Anthropic is compute constrained and their ARR is going through the roof then aren’t the companies providing the compute going to get the most benefit
-
11:30 1000% brad
-
Love the intro visuals.
-
He’s the only man supporting rising wages ❤
-
Thank you Jason. Thank you 🙏 for acknowledging how much the middle class is suffering
-
Hi, love the show - AND - I am one of those hyper local DC activists that is not funded or organized by a large protestor organization. When Meta attempted to convert 1000 acres of farmland in the middle of our res ag neighborhood two miles from my house, 600 people showed up to the Township meeting with only days of notice. Yes we had some folks come in from environmental orgs across the state, but the vast majority were residents with massive concerns that spanned the environment, health, resources, revenue concentration, and cyber security, just to name a few. Our community put a moratorium in place so we could write an ordinance and I'm on that committee. We're just regular people trying not to get run over by large corporations. I suspect you might see it differently if they were trying to build one two miles from YOUR house. In the end, I love the pod, keep talking and working on solutions - just be cautious about making sweeping assumptions about the dynamics on the ground. It's going to take all of us to WIN.
-
Why was there no reference made to Sally Jesse Raphael?
-
Thank you all for all your hard works!
-
Chamath's point about whether there will be value for all the tokens being bought is something to be seen, good to be optimistic!
-
Jay and Chamath about to come to blows in this one!
-
Besides the amazing content, I absolutely love the music from the pod! ;)
-
Thank you, Brad. 1:04:30.
-
Friday night with the boys!
-
Love the pod, smart informed people.
-
Funny...great show🎉
-
The fifth Beatle is intense.
-
Fabulous show .. 🇺🇸🗽❤️💫
-
it s a pretty good subject keep pup the good work
-
KYC-style checks already exist in GPT 5.5 which triggers when trying to do security-related work.
-
Love it!!!
-
Elon name-drop challenge: ultimate
-
Thank you, champath!! Messaging sucks!!
-
Chamath is correct. The tech companies and billionaires should create a non profit ad campaign, ala the Ad Council, talking about the benefits of AI.
-
55:15 jcal - screw minimum wage...why not cut rates??? Thats the low hanging unlock.
-
Good show fellas.
-
“it’s a good thing I’m rich” 😂😂❤❤❤❤❤
-
One of the best
-
Stay together. You guys crush ❤
-
Enlightened Sef Interest
-
Thank you for reiterating this Chamath (~40min -42min)
-
1:07:12 absolutely killed me 🤣🤣🤣
-
EWS - Awesome!
-
Hi. Big fan of the pod. One of the few places I feel I can get intelligent insight into what’s going on in the world. One thing I was hoping you might chat about at some point is giving back. Many of you (and your guests) have more money than you can ever spend and your families are secure forever. What is your plan and recommendation for others similarly wealthy to help the world beyond building companies?
-
Brad becoming my favorite bestie 🎉
-
You guys crack me up with your friendly banter! Love the Pod and what you all bring to it
-
Great show. Keep up the good work - all of you. Stay the course.
-
Bernie Sanders impersonation was GREAT❗️
-
Excellent episode! This was so good!
-
Great show guys loved this one
-
❤ Chamath❤ agree 💯
-
51:30 I love J-Cal's Larry David impersonation!
-
Valuable tech industry update
-
Thanks for another great episode gents!
-
Sacks , such a cheeky pithy comeback in the intro. I love it.
-
Chamath dropping truth again. Appreciate the grounding on the largest needle mover - Private Enterprise.
-
yeah, like they said, just trust the algorithm!
-
Love y/our podcast keep it up boys👍💪
-
Best one in a while. Thx fellas
-
Fantastic show
-
Shoutout to Jason for his populist policy proposals
-
One for the ages boys 🚀 ❤❤❤
-
Thank you J Cal for addressing the real enemy, inequality.
-
I love the idea of data center owners providing free electricity to the towns impacted by their presence. The uptick in electricity would be tiny compared to what will be used in the data center.
-
please bring brad on the pod as often as possible! His calls on the market is insanely sharp and spot on
-
LoveJC, keeps it free flowing with humour plus a touch of humanity. However, he is pushing a concrete ball up a hill with these guys.
-
CrowdStrike and others can be good as long as their insiders don't help the hackers. Everybody seems to have a price. Thank you, very informative.
-
Morgan, I can say I pulled something off like that with the Panama Canal with the Roosevelt Roosevelt came through Theodore. What a good man could be bought out Theodore can be bought.
-
@chamath I agree with you. These guys are prematurely optimistic.
-
Love these guys
-
2:36 okay, that was funny.
-
Love Brad,miss David.
-
So excited for Elon and Anthropic!! I like Dario! I think these two can really be important for our future. I think they will give us equity! This could be the beginning of something very special. I think Bezos, Elon and Dario are very influential and will own everything in the future.
-
Anthropic and XAi are gonna make history!!
-
Wow, I agree with JCals Ted Talk!
-
Brad is great, lets get him some new reading glasses
-
On market thoughts: long time AMD and INTEL holder, but I trimmed those positions last week and this week because of massive gains. If they continue to rip, great, but when charts go expontial it's flat greddy to not take some profits.
-
One variable that might not be factored into overcoming compute or energy constraints are algorithmic improvements/breakthroughs that make us more efficient in both. We should leverage our frontier models into lowering the energy and compute needed to generate tokens. There already seems to be a trend that the smarter the model the less tokens/task are required. We definitely will still need much more compute to keep up with Jevons paradox but I don't hear enough people talking about efficiency gains as another way to tackle the problem.
-
Agree with Chamath about KYC for users using Mythos. DiD - decentralized ID using blockchain technology might be the way to go and and so is PQC - Pre-quantum crytography.
-
Great episode gents Jcal agree - healthcare, housing, even energy dividends to the hoi polloi to avoid the costly revolutions of the past.
-
Hey Jason, I think the shoe on the fence behind you has sun dried by now 😂😊
-
Ty
-
Sacks looks good!
-
7:12 he was about to cry but he and his friends came with a goal to todays pod.
-
Crazy crazy anthropic
